Who we are

Puthusu is a product launch platform operated by Superkabe and available at puthusu.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies alongside our Terms of Service.

Information we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, and a password (which we store only as a securely hashed value, never in plain text).
• Profile details you choose to add: username, bio, avatar, and social links.
• Content you create: products you submit (including logos, screenshots, offers, and social links), comments, and upvotes.
• Usage signals: product page views and outbound website clicks, used to show makers basic analytics.
• Technical & security data: your IP address and basic request data, used to keep you signed in, prevent abuse, and apply rate limits.
• Cookies: one essential cookie that keeps you signed in (see below).

How we use it

We use this information to operate and improve Puthusu: to create and authenticate your account, verify your email, rank and display launches, show makers analytics, prevent spam and abuse, keep the service secure, and - only if you opt in - email you about your launch and related updates.

Cookies

We use a single essential cookie that stores your signed session so you stay logged in. It is required for the service to work. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Email

We always send essential account emails (such as email verification and security notices). We send launch and marketing emails only with the consent you give at submission, and you can opt out of those at any time.

What is public

Your published products, your public profile (name, username, bio, avatar, and social links), and your comments are visible to anyone. Your email address and password are never shown publicly.

Sharing & service providers

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run Puthusu, acting on our instructions: cloud hosting, database and file storage, caching and rate limiting, and email delivery (for example Vercel, Railway, Cloudflare R2, and Resend). We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our users and the platform.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. When you delete content or your account, we remove it (or anonymise it) within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records by law.

Your rights & choices

You can view and edit your profile, edit or delete your products at any time, and opt out of non-essential emails. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and personal data by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

Security

Passwords are stored hashed, data is encrypted in transit, and access is restricted. No online service can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

International transfers

Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards for the transfer.

Children

Puthusu is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the “last updated” date above and, for significant changes, take additional steps to notify you.
